Today Westbeach stepped up and organized one hell of a dope ass event. There are different types of snowboard events out there but this one definitely was prob. one of my favorite events that I have participated in. Next year I want to race. Dave Rouleau, Dave Brockelbank from Gnarcore.com, Pete, Cory, Lucas and I all teamed up to cover the event. It’s 1am and we got a jam packed news post on Gnarcore.com of some of the highlights and will be working on the video over the next few days. Well, actually some of the guys will because I am off to Tofino on Sunday to relax for a day or so. 5 out of 6 tapes logged already and Im take a peak at some of my pics. More content to come…  

 Johnny “Fatts” Conway from ATG Media has been working on a short film and sees to change the way films are distributed. Instead of filming all season to create one video with different riders parts. The “Translocation” project aims to take a different approach at delivering it’s content. The videos will come out in Shorts highlighting each location riders visit throughout the year.The above video is the first release and features the riding of Andrew Burns and highlights from Craig Beaulieu and Chris Coulter.

Super excited to have GnarCore.com finally online. All of their films including this years “The Power Normal” is online for free through a streaming full screen flash player. A higher quality download will be available in a few days. Thanks goes out to Kole from Zapp worx who put the site together. I would of liked to be completely in charge of the production but I had a few other projects I was working on at the beginning stages of the site.  I am really happy with the way everything turned out and am looking forward to contributing to the site. I got some Billabong Ante Up footage logged and will try and get that edited up in the next few weeks. GnarCore.com will be updated on a regular basis with blogs, videos, photo galleries and much more.
